Loved the first three editions so great news that you're you've managed to overcome some difficulties and are back with a new edition (and will hopefully be around for some time to come). Would like to think that there is a market for a fan-based magazine that is well written, witty and also does a nice line in nostalgia - here's hoping.....
Good luck chaps!

Your article on the MK Dons states that others supporters dislike of the club is not just. How can anything to do with moving a club 80 miles from it's origin be anything but unjust.

Football supporters do not like MK Dons because they could not be bothered to work their way up the leagues the way every club has had to. If they ever believed there was no other way of achieving this then AFC Wimbledon is proving them wrong.

Sorry, but if the attitude taken by this article is indicative of the magazine as a whole then the first copy I've bought will also be the last.

Just seen Late Tackle for the first time, in WH Smith's at York.
It looks good - I'll be looking out for it on a regular basis.

Have a look at my website. It contains nearly 300 photographs from the era 1954 to 1974. There are 128 different clubs and countries featured, from British, European and World football.

A refreshing new mag., that isn't afraid to include 'the warts and all' of our favourite game. I particularly enjoyed the article on Dinnington Town, where I used to live near upto 6 years ago.
I remember going to an end of season mid week fixture, before they had their lights. It was the day after a Bank Holiday, and the local council use to tend the pitch, and we arrived to find it hadn't been marked. Manager Steve Toyne jumped into his car, dashed over to Sheffield to collect a line marking machine, came back, ran round the pitch like a dervish marking the lines, as he dashed past the gathering crowd was heard to say, 'you wouldn't see b--- Fergie doing this!'. The game kicked off nearly an hour late, and even though the teams changed ends with no half-time, finished in the dark (actually I think the ref. only played 40 mins. in the second half). This is what it's all about! Good luck with the new venture.

Really liked your magazine, and the article on Peter Reid had me laughing out loud (and feeling some sympathy with the Plymouth Chairman).

Not sure we needed yet another article on Robin Friday by Paolo Hewitt. Does the man have nothing else to write about?

But all in all, just what the doctor ordered. Hope you survive and thrive.
