Toulouse went into the final game of the season last weekend needing a dramatic turn of results avoid relegation from Ligue 1.
The Southern French side had experienced a difficult campaign, winning just eight league games and they knew that a defeat at mid table Angers would secure a return to the second division.
Thankfully Toulouse manager Pascal Dupraz had a cunning plan up his sleeve.
After making an impassioned speech to his players before the game, the former Evian boss showed his players a video showing messages of support from the players’ friends and family.
The team talk moved a number of players to tears and must have done the job as Dupraz’s side secured a 3-2 victory to stay up by a single point.
