‘Ibra’ set for sizeable pay rise

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to receive a pay rise totaling €700,000 PER MONTH.

The rise relates to a series of criteria within the Swedish forward’s contract, which promises the rise based on his performances.

Ibrahimovic is already the highest paid player in Ligue 1, with the Parisian club already shelling out around €1.5m monthly to ‘Ibra’. The numbers don’t stop there however, should PSG win either the Ligue 1 title or the Champions League, Zlatan would be one of the players to be rewarded with more than just a medal with a substantial bonus.

PSG currently sit 21 points ahead of second placed Monaco, who incidentally are closer to Toulose in 19th place than they are the runaway leaders. It may be too early for celebrations just yet, but it’s safe to say a few bottles of champagne may be being ordered very soon.

The former Barcelona man does run out of contract with the French champions at the end of this season but with his current pay packet it’d be very difficult to tempt him away from the Parc de Princes any time soon.
