Well, here we go again. The anticipation is building with the World Cup just around the corner.
Can Thomas Tuchel lead England to World Cup glory and end 60 years of hurt? The German’s squad selection has certainly shown he’s not afraid to take tough decisions.
It’s great to see Scotland back at the global showpiece after a 28-year absence. If their matches are anything like those in qualifying, they will be well worth watching.
On a wider scale, it’s going to be interesting to see how this first 48-team World Cup – over three countries – pans out.
There is going to be plenty of travelling for those who have managed to get their hands on the high-price tickets.
As you would expect, we’ve got plenty of World Cup-related material in this edition, while we also take a look back at the end of the domestic season.
Thanks, as always, go to all our contributors.
If you fancy writing for the magazine please get in touch. You can send submissions and ideas to [email protected]
We read everything that comes in and use the best stuff each issue. Please do remember that as the magazine is printed only every six weeks or so, we can’t use time-sensitive pieces.
We just want stuff that is interesting, funny, poignant, insightful, or maybe even all four.
That aside, the main rule is there are no rules: as long as your piece is about football (pretty crucial, that) and on the right side of legal, we’ll consider it for publication.
Finally, we hope you enjoy the World Cup wherever you are and whoever you support. Bring it on!
