We all have memories of weather-ravaged matches. The coldest game, the windiest game, the muddiest game and the hottest game but what about the wettest game?

I’m not talking about a squall coming in off the sea or a persistent grey cloud filled sky dumping gallons on a winter afternoon. No, I am talking tropical downpours.
My wettest game was in the state capital of Texas. That’s Austin and remembering it might get you a point or two in a pub quiz if the questions are about US state capitals.
