TERRY Curran was 24 and approaching the peak of his powers when he ditched top-flight football to join his beloved Sheffield Wednesday in the old Third Division.
“I’m often asked why I did it,” says Curran, a fast and skilful forward who also played for Doncaster Rovers, Nottingham Forest, Derby County, Southampton and Everton.
