Rob Bradley on the personal consequence of Lincoln City's unexpected promotion to the Championship in the 2025/26 season.

In early May last year, a group of Imps fans went into Lincoln city centre after our final match of the season. We’d watched already-promoted Wrexham beat us, but, despite that, our 11th-place finish in 2024-25 was satisfying.
We’ve only spent around a sixth of our whole history in the third tier, so establishing ourselves there for a further season and avoiding the drop into more familiar territory was more than acceptable.
