A SHIRT-SLEEVED crowd of around 65,000 crammed into Belfast’s Windsor Park ground in anticipation of witnessing a feast of football.
It was Saturday, August 13, 1955 and to mark the 75th anniversary of the Irish Football Association, a charity match had been arranged between a Great Britain team and one representing the Rest of Europe.
