A pint of Marston’s Pedigree finished in three long pulls, you take the five-minute jaunt down Wilmslow Road to the Albert Inn. Still thirsty, parched even, the falling rain is like a taunt. You speed-swallow a pint here and then another at the Huntsman before turning the corner and heading down Claremont Road.
