As a Birmingham City supporter I recently had an interesting three-month experience – the disastrous reign of Wayne Rooney as our head coach.
It was October 11, 2023, when he was appointed on a three-and-a-half year contract and January 2, 2024 when he was dismissed after winning just two games out of 15.
That was exactly 12 weeks which makes me wonder whether he was dismissed at the end of the standard 12- week probationary period which exists in all formal employment contracts?
