Can Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses retain their European crown in Switzerland this summer?

With injuries, retirements, and a difficult group to get out of, it certainly won’t be easy. But what an achievement it would be if they could back up their win on home turf last time around with success on the road.

Wales are, of course, in the same section as England and, fingers crossed, they can enjoy a successful debut campaign.

We examine both sides’ prospects in this edition.

There is also a look at some of the underdog winners who helped make the 2024-25 season such a memorable one. Who, for example, would have thought that Crystal Palace, Tottenham, and Newcastle would bag silverware?
