IF YOU had told Brighton fans 10 or 20 years ago that heading into 2022 we would be halfway through our fifth season in a row in the Premier League, they probably wouldn’t have believed it.
But that shows how far the club have come in a relatively short space of time. We’ll always owe a debt of gratitude to Chris Hughton for guiding us into the Premier League in 2016-17 and establishing us there.
