LIKE many collectors, my Corinthian journey started one Saturday morning with a routine trip to Woolworths.

Walking through the magazine aisle and past the VHS and SNES games, I resisted the pick ‘n’ mix sweet stand and arrived at the toy section at the back of the shop.
I can still vividly recall seeing Corinthian football figures for the very first time, the white shelf stocked with the vibrant blue packaging of the England Squad Collection.
