STEPPING INTO THE STARS: Jeff Jones gives the low-down on a small Welsh club attracting attention

FOR groundhoppers, a must-visit ground in South Wales is Bush Park, home to Treowen Stars Football Club.
The venue is one of a kind because it features 54 steps from the car park opposite the dressing rooms and clubhouse to the pitch!

Treowen is a small village near Newbridge, Caerphilly. The club was formed in 1926.
This season, under the management of Ben Murphy and his staff, the club is competing in the Cymru South League for the first time. They were promoted from the Ardal South East League as champions last term.
