All of my being – every piece of fibre, bone and blood cell – really wants to believe that Chelsea’s David Luiz, in the act of cheekily nicking this free-kick off Willian and slamming it into the Liverpool goal, ran up to the ball internally screaming “LEEROOOOOOOY JEEENNNKIIIINNNNS”.

 

I’m writing this at 10:39am the next day and Simon Mignolet is still organising his wall.
