If there’s one footballer who’s renowned for his love of sports cars it’s Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo. During his sporting career, Ronaldo has purchased an astonishing nineteen sports cars from a variety of different brands.

The total cost of his beloved motors is estimated to amount to over five million US dollars. However this figure remains uncertain given that a number of his cars were given to him by the companies he endorses.

Since 2003, the year in which he began playing for Manchester United in the English Premier League, Ronaldo’s car purchases became all the more frequent and numerous, presumably as a result of the generous salary increase that accompanied his transfer.

He previously owned an additional multi-million pound mansion in Alderly Edge, Cheshire; an area renowned for its affluence and high property prices.
